TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • By booking or participating in a tour, product, or service related to Cusco Apus Tours, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

Reservations

  • Your reservation is confirmed, and a contract exists when the Tour Operator or your travel agent issues a written confirmation after receiving the applicable deposit amount. Please check your confirmation carefully and report any incorrect or incomplete information to the Tour Operator or authorized agent immediately. • You will pay a non-refundable deposit in any situation. There are no exceptions.

MEDICAL INFORMATION

  • You must inform CAT of any medical issues or allergies you may have. You need to be in good physical health, and if your health is questionable, you should consult a doctor. If you are over 70 years old, you will need to provide us with a current medical certificate of good health. You are responsible for assessing whether a tour is suitable for you. You should consult your doctor to confirm your fitness for travel and participation in any planned activities. You should seek your doctor's advice on vaccinations and medical precautions.
  • The Tour Operator does not provide medical advice. It is your responsibility to evaluate the risks and requirements of each aspect of the tour based on your unique circumstances, limitations, fitness level, and medical requirements. CAT reserves the right to deny you permission to travel or participate in any aspect of a tour at any time and at your own risk and expense when the Tour Operator determines that your physical or mental condition makes you unfit to travel or poses a danger to yourself or others.
  • Pregnancy is considered a medical condition and must be disclosed to the Tour Operator at the time of booking. The Tour Operator may refuse to take pregnant women over 24 weeks. The Tour Operator may refuse to take anyone with certain medical conditions if reasonable accommodations or alternatives cannot be arranged. It is highly recommended to purchase travel insurance to protect yourself in case of a medical emergency or any tour cancellation.

TOURS AND TREKS

  • All balances must be paid in cash, credit or debit card (Visa), or PayPal (in full) before the briefing meeting held the night before your trip. Visa (Izipay) incurs a service fee of 6%, and if you need to use another card, it must be through PayPal, which incurs a service fee of 10%.
  • If you are experiencing any issues with the guide or tour services, please inform the guide at that moment so they can resolve any issues. All tours include return transportation to Cusco (Plaza Regocijo, Plaza de Armas, or Plaza San Francisco). If you become ill, injured, or cannot complete the tour due to an illness, we will assist you in returning to the city of Cusco. The original payment will not be refunded. However, we will prepare a document to certify the illness that can be submitted to your travel insurance. CAT will take all reasonable care to provide our clients with a safe experience, preventing accidents, illnesses, and loss of personal property, and will only employ properly qualified personnel.
  • We accept responsibility for the actions of our own employees. However, CAT cannot be held responsible for any actions of third parties. You are fully responsible for your own personal property and rented equipment. CAT is not responsible for adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, strikes, accidents, illnesses, injuries, loss of personal items, etc. It is the client's responsibility to obtain insurance to cover such events. We reserve the right to modify or cancel the program due to any of the unforeseen conditions mentioned above. Group tours may have up to 18 participants. Groups are open to everyone, regardless of skill or age. By accepting a Group Tour, you acknowledge that others may change the pace and timing of the tour. All tours are conducted in Spanish and English.
