Policies and Refunds of Cusco Apus Tours

At Cusco Apus Tours, we are committed to offering exceptional tourist experiences with the utmost transparency and professionalism. Below, we detail our booking and refund policies to ensure our clients are fully informed and satisfied with our services.

  1. Booking Policies

    • Advance Booking: We recommend making reservations at least 30 days in advance to guarantee availability and secure the best prices. Reservations made less than 30 days in advance are subject to availability and special conditions.

    • Booking Confirmation: Once we receive your booking request, we will send you a confirmation via email with the itinerary details, costs, and necessary requirements. It is important to review and confirm the accuracy of all information.

    • Deposit and Full Payment: A deposit of 30% of the total amount is required at the time of booking to secure your spot. The remaining balance must be paid at least 15 days before the tour start date. We accept payments via bank transfer, credit cards, and other previously agreed methods.

  2. Cancellation Policies

    • Cancellation by the Customer:

      • Up to 30 days before the tour start: 70% of the total amount paid will be refunded, retaining 30% as an administration fee.
      • Between 15 and 29 days before the tour start: 50% of the total amount paid will be refunded.
      • Less than 15 days before the tour start: No refunds will be issued. In exceptional cases, the possibility of rescheduling the tour will be evaluated subject to availability.
    • Cancellation by Cusco Apus Tours:
      In the rare case that Cusco Apus Tours must cancel a tour due to unforeseen conditions, we will offer a rescheduling at no additional cost or a full refund of the amount paid.

  3. Modifications and Changes

    • Changes to the Itinerary: If you wish to make modifications to your itinerary after confirming your reservation, please inform us at least 15 days before the tour start. We will do our best to accommodate your changes, although some modifications may incur additional costs.

    • Changes Due to Force Majeure: In case of necessary changes due to extreme weather conditions, natural disasters, or other circumstances beyond our control, we will make the necessary adjustments to ensure your safety and the best possible service.

  4. Refunds
    Refunds will be processed through the same payment method used for the original transaction. The processing time for the refund may vary depending on the financial institution. 100% refunds are processed within 6 hours; thereafter, commission costs for secure payment refunds apply. Please note that tickets for entry to Machu Picchu and train tickets are non-refundable after several days of confirming the reservation, as the Peruvian state does not refund entry tickets and trains also do not refund.
