We will pick you up early from your hotel in Cusco and take you to the Ollantaytambo train station to board the Expedition service. Along the train ride, you’ll enjoy breathtaking views of the Urubamba River and the towering mountains of the Sacred Valley.

Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, you’ll have time for a comforting breakfast before boarding the Consettur bus to the entrance gate of the Inca citadel. Once in Machu Picchu, our professional guide will reveal the secrets of its temples, terraces, and hidden paths while you explore the Llaqta at a relaxed pace and take unforgettable photos.

Immerse yourself in the magic of these ancient ruins, surrounded by sky-touching peaks and dreamy landscapes. After exploring every corner—from the Temple of the Sun to the Intihuatana—we’ll descend to Aguas Calientes for a traditional lunch before boarding the train back to Ollantaytambo. Itinerary

Day 1: Cusco – Ollantaytambo – Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu – Aguas Calientes – Ollantaytambo – Cusco

Your unforgettable experience begins early in the morning with pickup from your hotel and transfer to the train station in Ollantaytambo, where you will board the Expedition service bound for the magical town of Aguas Calientes.
The beautiful landscapes along the train ride are truly impressive, showcasing the natural splendor of the Andes.
In Aguas Calientes, also known as Machu Picchu town, you’ll have time to enjoy breakfast before heading up to the Inca Llaqta with our guide.
Next, we’ll board the Consettur bus for the ride up to Machu Picchu. Once at the top, our guide will provide essential information to ensure a safe and amazing visit.
We will explore the entire citadel of Machu Picchu, take stunning photographs, enjoy the magical scenery, and learn about the rich history of this sacred site.
After finishing the guided tour, we’ll descend to Aguas Calientes for lunch.
In the afternoon, we will board the Expedition train back to Ollantaytambo. From there, we’ll drive you back to Cusco City.

3. Can I bring a large backpack to Machu Picchu?
Only backpacks up to 30 × 20 × 10 cm are allowed. Larger bags must be stored in Aguas Calientes.
