Explore vividly colored lagoons surrounded by snow-capped peaks, alpacas, vizcachas, and the majestic Ausangate, the sacred mountain of Cusco.

This tour is ideal for connecting with nature and witnessing one of the most beautiful trekking circuits in southern Peru. You’ll also get to relax in the hot springs of Pacchanta, with spectacular glacier views.

Itinerary

Day 1: Cusco – Pacchanta – Cusco

4:30 AM – 5:00 AM: Pick-up from your hotel in the historic center of Cusco.
5:00 AM – 8:30 AM: Drive to the village of Pacchanta.
8:30 AM – 9:00 AM: Enjoy a delicious breakfast.
9:00 AM – 1:00 PM: Begin the hike to the stunning Ausangate lakes: Azulcocha, Otorongo, Oquecocha, Murococha, Pucacocha, Alpacocha, and Qomercocha. During the hike, you'll take in views of Ausangate Mountain and the Qayangate mountain range. Along the way, you may see birds, alpacas, llamas, vizcachas, and — with some luck — even an Andean condor.
After completing the circuit, we’ll return to Pacchanta to relax in the hot springs surrounded by snowy peaks.
2:00 PM – 3:00 PM: Lunch.
3:00 PM – 7:00 PM: Return transportation to Cusco.
