Itinerary – Machu Picchu Tour by Vistadome Observatory Train (1 Day)

Our transportation will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the train station. Depending on your hotel location, you may board from either Ollantaytambo or Poroy.

Begin your adventure aboard PeruRail’s most exclusive panoramic train. Enjoy:

The train ride to Aguas Calientes lasts approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes.

Upon arrival, your guide will meet you at the station and accompany you to the bus that travels up the Hiram Bingham road to the entrance of Machu Picchu.

9:30 a.m. – Guided Tour of Machu Picchu
Discover the iconic Inca citadel with a professional guide as you explore its most important areas:

  • Agricultural terraces
  • The Sun Temple
  • Intihuatana stone

Tour duration: Approx. 2 hours and 30 minutes

12:00 p.m. – Free Time in Aguas Calientes

5:30 p.m. – Return Transfer to Cusco
Our transportation will be waiting at the station to bring you back to your hotel in Cusco.
