Explore the unique landscapes of the Sacred Valley on an exciting ATV tour to Maras and Huaypo Lagoon. This adventure is perfect for travelers seeking stunning views, adrenaline, and a different way to experience the Peruvian Andes.

We’ll begin with an ATV driving lesson at our base. Then, we’ll ride to the beautiful Huaypo Lagoon, surrounded by farmland and mountains. Next, we’ll visit Piuray Lagoon, a natural mirror perfect for unforgettable photos. Finally, we’ll explore the iconic Maras Salt Mines, where over 3,000 salt pools create one of Cusco’s most striking landscapes.

This tour is available every day at two different times: 7:00 am to 1:00 pm or 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Choose your own adventure!

Itinerary

We offer 2 different schedules

Group Tour: Daily departures at 7:00 am–1:00 pm / 1:00 pm–6:00 pm
Day 1: Cusco – Base – Huaypo Lagoon – Piuray Lagoon – Base – Maras Salt Mines – Cusco

We’ll leave our office at 7:00 am or 1:00 pm and drive to our ATV base. There, we’ll participate in a short lesson to learn how to operate the ATVs.
Once ready, we’ll begin the ride to Huaypo Lagoon, where the guide will give a detailed explanation and answer all your questions.
We’ll then visit the beautiful Piuray Lagoon and return to the base.
After that, we’ll drive to the Maras Salt Mines, where the guide will explain their historical and cultural significance, and you’ll have time to take photos.
Finally, we’ll return to Cusco by car, arriving around 1:00 pm or 6:00 pm depending on your schedule.

Important Information

We use modern vehicles and organize small group tours with 13 to 15 people, and a maximum of 18 per group.
Our professional guides speak English and Spanish, and carry a first-aid kit and oxygen bottles for emergencies.
