Explore unique landscapes of the Sacred Valley with the tour to Maras and Huaypo Lagoon by ATV. Ideal for those looking for adventure, spectacular views and a different tour of the Peruvian Andes.

We will start with a driving lesson at our ATV base. Then, we will head to the beautiful Huaypo Lagoon, surrounded by agricultural fields and mountains. Finally, we will discover the impressive salt mines of Maras, where more than 3,000 salt wells form one of Cusco’s most iconic landscapes.

This tour is available every day in two schedules: 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. or 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. You choose your adventure!

Itinerary

We offer 2 different schedules

Group Tour: Daily departures at 7:00 am–1:00 pm / 1:00 pm–6:00 pm
Day 1: Cusco – Base – Huaypo Lagoon – Piuray Lagoon – Base – Maras Salt Mines – Cusco

We’ll leave our office at 7:00 am or 1:00 pm and drive to our ATV base. There, we’ll participate in a short lesson to learn how to operate the ATVs.
Once ready, we’ll begin the ride to Huaypo Lagoon, where the guide will give a detailed explanation and answer all your questions.
We’ll then visit the beautiful Piuray Lagoon and return to the base.
After that, we’ll drive to the Maras Salt Mines, where the guide will explain their historical and cultural significance, and you’ll have time to take photos.
Finally, we’ll return to Cusco by car, arriving around 1:00 pm or 6:00 pm depending on your schedule.

Important Information

We use modern vehicles and organize small group tours with 13 to 15 people, and a maximum of 18 per group.
Our professional guides speak English and Spanish, and carry a first-aid kit and oxygen bottles for emergencies.
